Gears are the most commonly found transmission factors. In a typical equipment assembly, one toothed steering wheel interlocks with another. Gearboxes are often used to deliver power or adjust direction.

Plastic material gears, as the brand suggests are made from plastic instead of metal. These include worm gears, spur gears, helical gears, pinion gears, tooth gears, bevel gears, and planetary gears. The material can be a combination of Nylon (Nylon PA6 or Nylon PA66) and POM (Polyoxymethylene).

Advantages of Plastic Gear:

They can easily can be found in various shapes.
Plastic-type material gears are relatively low-cost.
They produce lower noise in comparison to metal gears.
They are resistant to deterioration as they have low friction coefficient.
Lightweight
Resistant to plastic worm gear corrosion
Self-lubricated

These gears are being used extensively in various power transmission and action control systems. Though we have listed simply five types of plastic gears, we also offer customized gears according to client’s specifications.
